"Back to the Future" 2013

Photo Essay

Signature Photo:
Taking a look at the driving range to see if I either need to pick the balls off the range, or refill the range with golf balls.

Establishing Photo:
Walk into the bag room, and this is what you encounter. With nearly 200 bags, my job includes cleaning any clubs that are stored here, and making sure they have a fresh towel.

Close Up
The members who play a round of golf are supposed to use sand and seed to fill in the divot they created so that the grass will grow back.

Portrait
The view onto the driving range shows how long it is. It is 300 yards long and provides a great practice facility for members.

Interaction
The tiers are a part of the driving range and is where we allow members to hit off grass on designated days. We pick the balls off at the end of each day so it looks nice and we get more balls to put on the range.

How to:
Picking the driving range is tedious because you must make sure to get every ball possible, and it is not fun at the same time because you have a good chance of getting hit by people practicing by hitting golf balls.

 Clincher
Getting off work is great. And the walk out to our cars is pretty. The clock is a signature element at Tualatin Country Club.
